Some recent #hatchling delights: - she’s into playing hide and seek but when I finish counting she jumps up and goes ‘here I am!’ - she says ‘no please’ instead of ‘no thank you’ - she runs into my arms every time I pick her up from nursery, it’s the best

Mrs P taught religious studies and philosophy and was far more interested in her students’ opinions and hosting interesting discussions than she was in drilling the syllabus into us. She did a session on Plato’s cave in that weird gap between GCSEs and A-Levels that changed everything for me.

Thinking about shitty teachers is a bummer so, what about good teachers? Who’s in your Hall of Fame & why? ⭐️ Mrs. Flam, 5th grade. Colorful polyester suits, orangish hair in an updo. Played guitar & taught us to sing age-inappropriate folk songs. Could see I was struggling & was unfailingly kind ❤️

A music teacher told 7yo me I couldn’t sing, and I just fully accepted that as fact for years and resigned myself to only ever doing non-musical theatre. So many school plays I missed out on! Finally made up for lost time and was the lead in a musical at the Fringe, so suck on that Miss E.
