I've only visited one castle that wasn't a ruin. It took a while to walk from one end of the defensive structure to the fishing lake, veg/herb gardens and orchards. It changed the way I feel about living in a walkable city with easy access to parks, galleries, libraries. Our shared castle.

This is a rather more creative name than I'd come up with, but I've thought for AGES now that we DO need short novel/long novel/possibly-even-epic (or 'chonker') novel-length awards! Like I think it's genuinely bizarre to put a 60k word book up against a 180k word book in a best novel category!
