tbh I think that's why it sucks that all social media platforms have opted to remove, or not have to begin with, dislike buttons, while leaving like buttons in it means the default action for saying you liked something is a meaningless one whereas the default action for saying you disliked something

If you don't tell artists and writers that you like their work, the message they get from that is that posting is pointless.

please note that he's already back in the UK instead of languishing for weeks or months inside a cage so this has already been more humane treatment than the majority of the intended victims are getting
Far-right media provocateur Milo Yiannopoulos deported by ICE from US to UK
The original, since I just now actually listened to the one above
It's best to have a "small actions, bigger impact" mindset. You don't have to be a kind billionaire to make an impact. Doing stuff around your community and stuff is good enough.
We should start seeing these deaths of good people as inspiration for all of us to be good towards others.
I will always stick up for trans men. The way people are so comfortable making broad statements about us. How it's "okay" or even "funny" to make little stereotypes about us and I haven't seen many people speak up about it... Ive known ppl who treat us like "girls that are okay to hit" so yeah
hating trans men is fucking weird and transphobic and stuff but like having the nerve to go online and actually post broad statements about us as if we are a hivemind is insane to me "trans men always do this" "why do so many trans men..ect" "they have it so easy!" ..its so unhelpful.. please..
The best post is relevant once again!!
if you think you hate AI bros enough: no, you don't
the more you resist it, too, the more likely you are to attract the kind of person who finds violating consent to be a fun and exciting challenge. and again, it only takes one copy getting out to make most of the effort in "stopping scraping" pointless. hence why i piss em off instead. works better
what you *can* do is make it irritating, challenging, and frustrating. you can't stop them, but you can make doing it a chore, and when they show up to whine, slam their face into the toilet. but you ultimately can't *win* this kind of fight.
one question a lot of people have asked me: "How do I stop people/AI from scraping my work?" the short answer: you don't. you can't, outside of simply never sharing it at all. after all, they only need to get one copy, ever.
i love how often the excuse has been "ii had no idea claude was going to access your website". maybe there's your fucking problem, that you don't know what your "agent" is doing? christ.
Lazy edit I was just inspired to make when I read this post.
