Excerpt from the beginning of the article: "Andy Yen, the CEO of Proton, had a message for an employee in the company’s security Slack channel who urged the company to at least take a few days to pentest newly written code before pushing it live. “That’s bullshit and loser thinking. Of course it’s possible to be fast and secure,” Yen wrote in the channel at the end of August. “Stop thinking always of how to be slower, and focus more on how to be faster.” In a follow-up message, Yen reiterated his point: “only losers think like that.” His ultimate message for the team was to “stop lovingly handcrafting all our code and use AI more.”"

Reading this Famitsu interview Uchikoshi did and it seems that the reason the Crash Keys game was canceled was because *Uchikoshi* wanted to use AI, not the publisher. This snippet is driving me nuts. Makes all the posturing with Hundred Line read extremely shallow.

Uchikoshi himself self-identifies as a pro-AI creator. He believes stories, visuals, and mechanics still need to come from human minds, but using AI to line them up is more ideal. The example he gives is when he requests an object placement to be readjusted 3 or 4 times, then compromises with a placement he's 70% satisfied with because requesting fixes nonstop is demoralizing to both himself and his employee. But AI is unable to complain, so he can repeat adjustments ad infinitum until he gets something he's much closer to 100% satisfaction and all without ruining a poor employee's mental health.

when someone has too big of an ego i side-eye them... esp when they arent aware theyre stepping on others with their superiority complex ngl sometimes i wonder theyre on the spectrum like me and dont know some aspects of socializing properly, but then again im annoyed so grrr alas
