This morning in Biddeford, Maine, a 26-year-old man said goodbye to his wife and daughter and left for work. Moments later he was dead, shot in the head by ICE agents, the second man ICE has killed in six days. ICE is killing our neighbors. ICE cannot be reformed. Abolish ICE.

watching all this bringing back a thought that for all the talk of "purity testing" and "wanting ponies", your request of the party can be as small as "please stop complimenting republicans" and they will stridently refuse to meet that subterranean bar too

It actually kicks ass how much the people who run this site hate the people who use it. Just constant seething meltdowns over having to put up with a bunch of artists, furries, and trans people instead of crypto-hustlers and AI guys making Linkedin-tier posts. I'm glad they're miserable, frankly

They’re trying to run the Kilmar Abrego Garcia playbook with a five year old boy in a bunny hat because nobody can find peace if they embarrass the Trump administration publicly. Normal people didn’t like it with Garcia and they really aren’t going to like it for Liam.

BREAKING: The federal government has filed a motion seeking to end asylum claims for the family of Liam Conejo Ramos, according to the lawyer representing the family.

What do you MEAN the president audibly SHIT himself live on camera and they immediately cancelled the press conference and rushed everyone out of the room like it's a fire drill, and it happened two days ago, and I'm just hearing about it NOW?

I’m sorry, but I’m just so tired of this. I don’t have tolerance anymore for pretending the rotating villain theory isn’t 100% validated. They have the votes, we’re just watching the pageantry now. Let’s stop acting like anybody is acting on principle here.

I remember when this dude got yelled at on Twitter because he mused about how the number of people directly affected by abortion policy was relatively small so it didn't make sense why so many people would care about it. It was one of the very rare times he actually walked back an idiotic position.

the "where are all the protests against trump" people became the "these protests against trump are bad optics" people so quickly you may have missed it

You can file every Democrat, elected or otherwise, into two boxes: people who get that the “our Republican friends” routine is suicidal and the people who don’t. Everyone in the second box is a waste of your time.

I also want to reiterate that it took every single Democratic Senator to agree to this deal. A single Democratic Senator could have denied unanimous consent, pushed this into Monday, allowed more time for the discontent to fester. Every Senate Democrat is complicit. www.politico.com/news/2025/03...

Senate moves ahead on shutdown votes

Democrats agreed to speed up consideration of the bill to allow a vote on Friday in exchange for votes on four amendments.

Got blocked for pointing out that there are actually human costs to leaving a corrupt official in office when you have the power to remove him before he does any more damage and now regretting that my reply wasn't more rude to this colossal dipshit.
