Working as a waitress in a cocktail bar. Maximising shareholder value. Here if you need anything, let me know.
- We believe in second chances! - So you think refugees deserve a second chance at making a life? - Not like that - Young people who’ve made mistakes shouldn’t be punished? - Nope - Benefits to help people get back on their feet? - Ha! - So who do you believe in second chances for? - Nazis!
Have literally, not figuratively, done this today as a whole load of stormy looking clouds swept past with ne'er a drop of rain. Come back you cowards!!!!
Good morning Bluesky ☀️ My grandad told me he saw the Titanic - from the outset he warned all the people that the ship would sink, but nobody listened to him. He knew he was right and didn't give up. He warned them again & again, until eventually they kicked him out of the cinema.
Leaders of flag-raising group Raise the Colours Oxfordshire placed trackers on highway workers’ cars to find out their home addresses, the High Court has heard. RTC then attempted to intimidate the highway staff into no longer removing flags by repeating their addresses to them.
What, nowhere outside of this building? At all? Seems a tad unfair.
London streets, months without proper rain, are a sun-baked record of countless adventures and consequently reek of old coffee, booze, smears of dropped food and spectres of piss trails. Lovely stuff, I'm sure Pepys would approve.
Having spent a fair amount of time in hospitals during my life, predominantly while caring for family members, I've seen this happen a few times, and was always struck by the patience of the staff involved. Treating these people with care and patience, rather than telling them to fuck off.

You should be able to speak ill of the dead. We should be honest about those closest to us and acknowledge their failings, none of us are perfect. So if someone famous dies and spent a fair chunk of their time saying horrible things about people, then fair game. They knew what they were doing.
Stop calling me an amateur. I've been doing this for decades. I'm incompetent.
Finally, something to bring the country together...
Petition to ban the use of 'cups' as a measurement in recipes online.
Median UK voter in 2026, as predicted by Hugh Laurie some decades ago:
The little notes taped everywhere in your Airbnb: Keep porch light off after 11:00pm. Don't use bathroom outlet for hairdryer. Breaker will trip. If you hear a child crying in old pantry, don't open the door. It's not a child, DON'T OPEN THE DOOR.
Enjoying a traditional, British seaside visit... Appear to have grown an extra testicle while having a quick dip in the sea. All part of the charm here I'm told.
No, Lewis Goodall, schools weren't all shut during lockdown. My daughter had to work at her school throughout lockdown, because like many many others it had to remain open to accommodate key workers' children, you clueless warbling dick.

Jeanne Gibson, known worldwide as Rosie the Riveter, passed away on 29th July 2026 at the remarkable age of 100. Thank you Jeanne for giving women a symbol of strength when we were told we had none. 💋💪🏻💘
UK politics, new system. You vote for a party at a general election... that's it. You have to stick with them until the next election. No polling. No fucking about. All these arseholes saying they'll vote Reform and then flip-flopping based on if their greed exceeds their racism. Fuck you.
Unsurprisingly, Councillor Woolley doesn't look like he misses any fucking meals.

As the planet burns I would like to thank my friendly neighbourhood petrol-powered leaf blower man, speeding things along just that little bit faster in a particularly pointless manner.
I think the main issue might be that they’re Americans.
oh my god a Y Combinator startup called LemonLime threw a party, brought in a tattoo artist offering free tattoos, and then said they would give an immediate job interview to anyone who got a tattoo of their logo what is wrong with these people.
Just sharing a photo of my niece's cat wearing a ruff and absolutely loving it in case this kind of thing helps you through the day.
