I’m in Tigard and we run $175 a month in the fall/spring/winter and $225 in the summer when we water things. Only about $30 of the entire bill is water usage. The rest is taxes/fees. It’s insane. When we first moved in I was convinced there was a water leak.

Strong take. It’s lazy governing. They’d rather get sound bites then do anything that rocks the boat. Portland can do hard things but it takes courage to make it happen. I think some councilors forget who they actually work for. Let’s help them remember in November.
