I'm on the extreme ultra right of bluesky, i.e. a democratic socialist somewhere between labour and the greens, and I feel happy and usually well tolerated here. So I dunno how much work they really need to do. Or is there some pressing need to make it welcoming for bigots and fascists, too?

I get a little bit frustrated with the "we should ban AI datacentres" discourse. Not because I want them, buf because they're really not special as a category. If our planning stuff can't handle making sure industrial use handles externalities it's not fit for purpose.
