I'd like to compare how Irish commentators wrote about Jason Arday with how they wrote about Brian Lucey, the Irish academic who had several papers retracted earlier this year because he had been corruptly peer reviewing his own work, but literally no Irish commentators wrote about it
Re how much coverage this got - I saw someone pointing out that the Vice Chancellor of University of Manchester was fired for misappropriating millions of pounds, and it scarcely made the news compared to this. But of course that's clearly not an important story regarding ethics in academia

Per most recent figures, net migration to NI *over the past 22 years* has been ~62,000 people. Only 3% of Northern Ireland’s population currently belong to an ethnic minority. Pogroms in Belfast (as with Ballymena last year) are just gutter-level "One Is One Too Many" racism, and nothing else.
