@zackpolanski.bsky.social’s support for this journalist’s media sovereignty initiative should ON ITS OWN be good enough reason to vote Green. This is the kind of systemic change we need if we are ever going to bring about real change for the better in the UK. bylinetimes.com/2026/08/10/z...

Zack Polanski Promotes Radical Plan to Break Up Britain's ‘Billionaire Media’

Green leader throws weight behind Media Sovereignty Act campaign to stop press barons "literally buying democracy"

If you are *really* worried about the resurgence of fascism, the mainstream media & politicians are not your friends (that includes the "centre left") For decades now they have paved the way for this resurgence and countering it means acknowledging thus this as a very obvious starting point 1/

They must mean stability for some of the wealthiest corporations on the planet... It's difficult to see how continuing the processes that have caused increasing instability in our planet's climate benefits anyone else. Least of all the ordinary citizens whose votes Labour seem to take for granted.

Government says they're focused on "providing stability" through oil and gas. An absolute dereliction of first duty to keep us safe. It won't boost the economy for the people but further obscene profits for fossil fuel companies & their shareholders. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

Our Prime Minister has had a lot to say today about subscriptions. Meanwhile, huge parts of the country are in drought. We're about to enter our fifth heatwave of the year, killing more people. Are we going to get anything from the Government? Literally anything?

Water companies are pumping shit into our rivers & seas and charging us extra for the privilege. They’re in charge of our vital water security as temperatures hit record levels. Enough words from the Labour Government. Time for action. Nationalise. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

Last week Zack Polanski and the Green Party held a press conference with Chris Packham, the BBC did not play full clips of it This morning, Nigel Farage and Reform UK held a press conference, since, the BBC have continued to play full clips from it

Burnham is using weasel words to justify continuing to stay in bed with fossil fuels. How much stability is worsening climate change, heatwaves and floods going to bring us? Zack Polanski is the only one brave enough to demand an alternative green energy commitment and no more fossil fuel expansion.

French economist Thomas Piketty to Zack Polanski, "If we don't manage to articulate together a model of development, energy production, dematerialization of the economy, reduction in working time, which makes all of this compatible with planetary habitability, we are all going to suffer a lot."

French economist Thomas Piketty to Zack Polanski, "This neoliberal turn of the 80s has not been a huge success for the middle class and for average living standards" "30 years later, 40 years later. When I look at Brexit or when I look at the Trumpist United States, I don't see very happy people"

This is it. Their big idea was: we will end the culture wars by conceding to the crank right across the board, on everything. As they were repeatedly warned, the crank right always banks every concession then demands more and crazier things, now emboldened because they know we are weak and stupid.

Just so predictable. Labour got themselves into this because those who aren't True Believers thought they could appease those who are then the issue would go away. Not so. The GCs are obsessives attempting a top down reorientation of our culture to spite a minority they despise. They must be fought.

The Economist personal hit pieces are surely just embarrassing for them. What is it about wealth taxes, rent controls and water nationalisation that they're so keen to stop progress? It's time to tackle the climate crisis & end Rip Off Britain.

Zack Polanski and the politics of eternal adolescence.

Andy Burham still hasn't commented on the untenable anti-trans legislation, or the rampant transphobia in his own party, but do you know what he has commented on? How much he likes to drink a lovely northern pint with a proper big fookin' head on it.
