I guess that, as between my two countries, I’m feeling more Canadian than I thought these days, because “Canada provides big piece of public firefighting equipment to LA, where it gets grounded by a an American exercising his sacred freedom to fly drones just wherever” feels very on the nose to me.

Very hard to teach an organization to interact as teams when they've normalized as interacting as individuals. No one even knows what they're doing wrong when they message someone privately instead of dropping a message for a team to pick up. They don't see the centralization of experience and power

On Wednesday, my car break-in legislation goes into effect. SB 905 ends the absurd loophole requiring proof not just of a break-in but also that all doors were locked. So if you don’t recall locking the door or a visitor who rented a car is no longer here, the case can be lost. No longer.
