Last polls tightened but he really showed his ass in that debate so hopefully it sours people on him

I'm a bitch, I'm a lover, I'm a child, I'm a mother, I'm a sinner, I'm a saint
Yes. And I think you can even be outraged by AIPAC’s spending in this primary. But *it was not an attempt to steal an election.*
I have a great deal of contempt for AIPAC but they do not have the power to "steal" an election. Stuffing ballot boxes, changing vote totals, that's election stealing. Convincing people to vote for a candidate via ads and outreach is just an election. The distinction matters
Reposting this because of the ongoing conversation I've seen over the past few days about how much Moulton sucks (he does).
I will be voting in the primary and I will be voting for Markey because even if Markey doesn't serve out his full term the years we'll have him, he'll be better than Moulton. The replacement process heavily favors a Dem. It's a calculated risk on my part that I am completely fine with.
Hasan would be starting conspiracy theories and encouraging his fans to stay home if Haley Stevens won last night.
I’d be much more willing to pray the Rosary more regularly if people better emphasized its spiritual significance and didn’t keep making me feel like I’m going to hell because I don’t.
Those three poor Fatima kids getting their message from Mary being exploited by Catholic exploiters.
Cameron Reicker exploiting the Rosary to sell his courses on "Beating Lust" -Exploitative Catholic Influencers
I am pro-life and I take no pleasure in reporting this but the coke addled dweeb from Brooklyn who started this discourse deserves the death penalty.
God I love it. Lived experience, burrito taxi discourse. In our absence they are doomed to walk our lonely path
There is really not going to be any introspection on how everyone on the ground in Michigan really fucked up.
the lesson of tonight is that everyone needs to lock the fuck in for @peggyflanagan.bsky.social
vbnmw but watching people try to turn this into a major victory is downright delusional.
The DSCC did McMorrow dirty and after watching the results tonight Mallory McMorrow would have been the best candidate to beat Mike Rogers.
I wonder what establishment Democrats will learn from the consequences of screwing with McMorrow and Tom Malinowski's campaigns
She basically wins this in a walk and this freak out is very unnecessary. Walker Bregman and his wrecker bullshit can honestly get fucked.
is there even an argument for this? like i think appealing to the bipartisan center is largely bunk but to the extent that there's a case to be made it's that otherwise the other candidate will win that imagined group. it's a democratic wave year and andy biggs was a key stop the stealer!
I honestly think the bad polling did Mallory McMorrow dirty.
I always think of Dr. George Tiller when Kansans protect abortion rights. 17 years later and our state is somehow still a site of refuge, even in the wake of Dobbs
if polling is truly washed how does horserace coverage even work
I’m gonna lose leftist cred for this, but I think McMorrow would’ve won this primary 60/40 over either candidate
Looks like a 10-15 point polling miss in Michigan regardless of who wins. And people have been writing a lot of electability takes using this data. It’s dangerous out there folks be safe
If McMorrow didn’t hire Lis Smith and didn’t attack AES on Hasan and didn’t shit on Midwesterners maybe she would have won.
The biggest counties haven’t even finished reporting yet, so this must be based on the rural counties. Now, I would love it if my fellow Kansans would stop voting for the people who put these measures on our ballots.
It’s about abortion rights & also public school funding. KS Const entitles all kids to “free & appropriate” public ed. Based on that provision, our state supreme court has required adequate funding. The funding formula expires this year & there’s a big fight coming in the ‘27 ksleg.
This is a major win. This would not only stop Republicans overturning protecting abortion rights but also put public school funding in jeopardy.
AP calls a DEFEAT for Kansas Amendment 1, which would have replaced the current merit-based selection of state Supreme Court justices with partisan statewide elections. GOP wanted this change to try to overturn a ruling protecting abortion rights, but voters emphatically said no.
A lot of the comparisons imho started when the Platner campaign tried to tie their campaign to El-Sayed’s campaign. Which is deeply unfair to El-Sayed’s campaign. Remember when Platner kept bragging that they were going to be lifting buddies?
By almost any reasonable standard, Abdul is wildly different than Platner— he’s not an unknown, he’s thoroughly vetted, there’s no allegations or hint of ugliness. The murmured equivalencies were embarrassing for the writers who deployed it.
My prediction: AES wins in November but polls behind Benson.
