I also believe I always had apnea (not necessarily just during sleep) long before I was fat. My mother took me tobthe doctor because I would just stop breathing as a baby. He said "they do that sometimes." She said "but she could die!" & the doctor sagely said "they do that sometimes"
Had a young patient really struggling to regain motion after an ACL. Tried everything and it just didn't feel right. Referred her back to the surgeon and he said something like, "Well, he's a PT. What does he know?" Surgeon drilled the holes wrong, she had a second surgery and missed 22 months.

I had a neurologist tell me my pain wasnt due to anything physical and that I should try talk therapy. I, someone who has done extensive hard work through talk therapy already, demanded an MRI. I was later diagnosed with spinal arthritis.

To stop it, we need 1) leaders to make better choices; 2) the media to recognise their enabling role in normalising this escalation cycle and stop doing so 3) a significant civil society effort in support of 1) and 2). In my view, we are failing on all three currently. /end

You can/should read Emily Wilson's latest take on the Odyssey, but I'm logging on to convey my hairdresser's reaction. She was AGHAST that Nolan, with his million $ budget, gave Matt Damon ONLY 6 hair extensions. As a result, his hair did not blow around properly, & that ruined the film for her.
If the candidate themselves can put aside hurt and ego, and offer support to their opponent, there's no reason none of her supporters can't do the same
