NASA mathematician, programmer & manager Dorothy Vaughan became the first Black female supervisor at NACA (precursor to NASA) in 1949. Her life & work, along with those of Katherine Johnson & Mary Jackson inspired the book/film Hidden Figures. She was born #OTD in 1910. #WomenInSTEM
