I think this would be included in the road user regulations accompanying the amended Traffic Safety Act. A draft of those has not been released yet. One for your MLA, not councillor

This is a great summary of the Kidical Mass movement. Although it talks a lot about Minnesota, it could easily be written about many North American cities, including #BikeHfx. “What do we lose as a community when kids cannot safely move around in their neighborhoods and streets?”

Zooming out. Deaths obviously have a lag in place given the last month or so. Everything might catch up as the data comes in.

I'm not sure if it's a lag in reporting to the city's data, but so far there seems to be fewer collisions on the roads for 2026 vs 2025.
