People keep repeating this exact phrase, but it's completely wrong. Every single day there's a story of a car driving over the curb, on to the sidewalk and crashing into a building. With much deadlier consequences than a bike annoying you on the sidewalk.

Recently had to explain to a professional from outside Toronto, that the vast majority of downtown Toronto workers commute by bike, walking, or transit. Some drive, but they are the minority. Perhaps I should show them these bike share stations…

I’m also seeing that they set a maximum number of bedrooms per lot in ER-3. So between those 8 units there can only be 20 bedrooms. If someone wanted to build an all family-sized 3 or 4 bedroom 8-plex development it would be forbidden.
