more strange housefly behaviour: did you know they can jump? not like, "jump up to fly" but "jump across small enough distances" or "jump at another fly" ? because I didn't, and i had to see it several times now

it's so awesome how trans women warned about and predicted much of what would happen years in advance and the collective response by much of the "community" was and still is isolating them or scolding them for their tone. nobody ever learns anything they just jump to save their own backs

It's genuinely a struggle not to cry when walking and seeing a scene like this. How did the world produce beauty like this? How can humans help maintain it?
