Just FYI I’m from a place with a long history of being condescended to by Calvinists, so yes I get a little snappy sometimes when they boast about toleration and liberalism somehow flowing directly from their theories.

I’d like to encourage the American fash to please alienate the white ethnics who had long since lost track of any social status gap between themselves and Anglos. Please by all means use that to campaign for Republicans in the Midwest and in Texas, it’ll totally help. (wtf is with these weirdos?)

if you were designing a stacked workflow from first principles, you would focus on atomic/bisectable commits as the unit of work, with interdiffs between versions to guide you. Basically what Gerrit, Phab and numerous other tools do. The lack of engagement with prior art continues to be frustrating

here's a very random question: why is it that Google Maps hides Brighton? attached are several screengrabs that show it displaying much smaller places but not Brighton, you have to zoom in soooo much to get it to appear, it's so weird?

Drawing Belgian streets is way more fun than Dutch streets. The latter are way too uniform in shape, colour, street layout, differences in height and depth, window placement, etc. Also I do loooove brick, but only using my terracotta colours each drawing also gets boring.

I've said this before, but if scapegoating trans people was how the left and the right were able to come together and solve climate change, it would SUCK, but I would understand. But scapegoating trans people is the latest excuse that lets them ignore climate change - and that is so much worse.
