Made this last night because I wanted to have an example I can point to whenever I see people have bad player ship/plane/vehicle/camera controllers that just 1:1 mirror game input and how much of a difference even a tiny amount of smoothing can make to game feel.

My first shadow map👶 White outline is a prism of light emitting from a source point. Colored polygons are occluding geometry clipped to the light's volume. Black & White image in top right is depth map within that prism. (White rectangle is an open door. Dark stripe is a foreground pillar.)

I worked on some animations for the robot dog. I'm not a rigger or an animator, so this was challenging. But I'm happy with the result. Some of the animations are meant to be mixed with others, like the bark and the confused look. I'm thinking of doing the same with the tail wag #gamedev #unreal
