Depending on the day, I'm a professional tinkerer, active listener, and/or project manager. I've built web apps, virtualized domain controllers, and counseled memory care patients. Current code interests: PHP, Laravel, & Vue
this attitude is, imo, one of the biggest keys to a happy life no matter who you are, there are going to be people in your life who are more successful than you at things you care deeply about, and sometimes that’s skill and sometimes it’s luck, but if you resent them for it you’ll be miserable
The flip side of understanding how much of one's career is luck is that it helps tamp down envy when friends catch luck. I have friends with movies and TV series! Other friends with ten times my sales! Good for them. It's nice when people you like get that break. They deserve it, as much as anyone.

This is the food supply chain equivalent of “[software] is insecure because they put out a lot of CVEs” It’s GOOD that they patch and disclose a lot of vulnerabilities, actually. Who you really need to worry about are the ones who don’t think they have any
A quick word on Taco Bell: That's where we found the suspected lettuce, and it's not bc Taco Bell is gross. It's bc Taco Bell is REALLY GOOD at tracing product! Keeping track of exactly where they got their ingredients, & exactly what restaurants each shipment of ingredients went to!
Canadians and Northern USers, you would be shocked how well these work! Please, please, if you have the time and the money, make one.

FYI, this gallery has all the photos NASA is sharing from Artemis II in one place, with descriptions.
