The U.S. Attorney believes that a "public rebuke" and an internal review are sufficient for egregious prosecutorial misconduct that put my family through hell. My seven-year-old is still having nightmares and panic attacks related to this case. Justice requires transparency and accountability.

commissioner jessica vásquez said the cook county board had yet to see a contract for briefcam, sheriff tom dart's proposed jail ai surveillance camera system. dart said breifcam will "save lives" and downplayed its facial recognition features while hyping up its object recognition features (?).

Why are we creating an oppressive surveillance state to let corporations that don't even pay enough in taxes to use free police help to act as their security force at our expense? Why should retail theft be our problem at all? @kwameraoul.bsky.social should answer for this. This is NOT ok.

Perhaps! I still don't see much evidence that BIden couldn't do the job other than his inability to speak in public, which was real (but bigger for campaigning than governing). Trump can't handle the job, but he never could and it's not clear to me that it's age related.

Law Enforcement always needs more money and resources, no matter what happens to the crime rate. That's what I've learned from every Chicago mayor.

I heard about this earlier today. He was denied his meds, taken out on a stretcher on Saturday and was DOA at the hospital. The Trump regime is running death camps.

Forty-six Democrats broke with their party to support legislation named after the murdered Georgia college student Laken Riley. Now, for some, that vote is a potential liability, as primary opponents say the votes cosigned Trump’s mass deportation agenda.

This doesn't get rid of the settlement that establishes the fund. That would require Donald Trump's sign-on, and he made it clear he wants the fund. All this does is rescind the DOJ's order establishing the fund. Trump can still go to court and demand the fund because the settlement remains.

People still complain about “lockdowns” but we had none in the US. We had stay-at-home orders, where although businesses were closed, you could still go outside whenever you wanted. Other countries had far stricter rules, and yet have been much more accepting of them as they saved many more lives.

Also the Republicans were screaming that Fauci helped authorize vaccines for children, which is something every goddamn parent I know was praying for every day for more than a year and have been thankful for ever since. These people are all self-centered idiotic sociopaths, nothing more.
