for reasons that only make sense if you're insane, a TPUSA kid complaining about burrito costs on xitter has the GOP's biggest divas going for each other's throats.
In that same interview, TC’s favorite “historian” talks about writing the foreword to a new book by Thomas777. That Thomas fellow (pictured below) has said that "Hitler will be remembered in 1,000 years as the warlord who prevented Soviet world domination."
In Tucker’s recent interview with his favorite Holocaust-denying “historian,” TC is shocked to learn that the Bolsheviks erected a statue to Judas in Moscow. The only problem is, there is no evidence that this ever happened. But who cares about evidence when you have a fascist narrative to push?
BREAKING: The New Mexico Department of Justice has sued Acting AG Todd Blanche and the DOJ, requesting the court for access to unredacted Epstein-related investigative files that the DOJ has been withholding.
Great: he's going to fuck up Chicago traffic with gas giveaways again.
In a CBS News Chicago exclusive, Willie Wilson said he is making another run for mayor in 2027, becoming the 10th candidate to enter the race.
Leading Minnesota Republicans want to help the feds terrorize the residents of their state.
Every single Republican candidate for governor of Minnesota (including Mike Lindell!) makes clear that if Trump tried another Operation Metro Surge in the Twin Cities, they would support his efforts to brutalize residents
delighted to see this @nytimes.com list of 50 Best Thrillers of the 21st Century. Full disclosure: I was a voter, and I'd say half of my 10 made the final list (GONE GIRL, MYSTIC RIVER, DARE ME, WINTER'S BONE, NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN). www.nytimes.com/interactive/...

Sinners, Saints and Screenplays: On Jim Thompson and Stanley Kubrick
Recently I’ve been watching my former Chelsea, NYC neighbor Ethan Hawke in the cool FX neo-noir series The Lowdown, which is streaming on Hulu. Though I won’t get into the plot of this sizzling sou…

New York City’s business elites are long accustomed to direct access to City Hall, where even Democratic mayors felt the need to court the city’s wealthiest and most influential corporate leaders. That access is getting shredded by Mayor Zohran Mamdani.
Pretty obvious I am working through some of my former-development-worker trauma with this one

“I’m staying in the race because, thanks to President Trump paving the groundwork, sexual assault and violence against women is widely and openly accepted now, so there’s really no reason to drop out.”
TAPPER: Hold on -- hold on, 'cause I'm not done with the list of women who have accused you of violence. Are all three of them lying? REP. MAX MILLER: Yes. And I'm not getting out of the race because in 2016, President Donald J Trump faced the most extreme allegations in the world ...

I have nothing to give up. When I learn something has integrated it, I turn off the integration or switch to an alternative. I learned to write and create with legal pads, pencils, pens, and typewriters. I learned to think through words and stories before using up ink and paper. I'll be fine.
I have one answer.
I've lived in rural (and urban-ish) North Louisiana going on 15 years. Mostly deep red, pockets of light blue. I've not seen people organize around any issue like the data centers. They won't beat Amazon's and Meta's money in the short term, but they're ripe for mobilization.
I’ve been screening our documentary with organizing communities in the South. So far, the organizers mention data centers first at every single event. From racial justice orgs to old school activists who don’t usually think about tech policy. This has legs.
They could always sign up to give comment at a public meeting.

#OTD in 1976, at the Birmingham Odeon, a drunk-ass Eric Clapton spewed out an infamous racist rant… He told the crowd that Britain was becoming a ‘black colony,’ and used slogans like ‘Keep Britain white’ while telling foreign audience members they should leave the UK. #EricClapton #OneHitWondered
We were promised that a war with Iran would last two weeks, tops. Now it’s been six months and yesterday Pete Hegseth reportedly told Republican senators in a closed door meeting to expect even more funding requests on top of what they’ve already been asked to approve.
So is this administration going to claim military families are criminals and that we are unsafe because we think families should together and not broken up by irrationally cruel people in power?
President Donald Trump’s administration has detained more than 50 spouses and parents of U.S. troops as it rolls back immigration protections for military families, an AP investigation has found.

good reminder that before the counting is over, election results don’t tighten. at no point is anyone trailing. nobody moves closer. they’re just tabulating the polls. it’s a fixed number that just isn’t done yet. to say otherwise is bad journalism but even worse math.

Susan Collins announcing she'll vote against a controversial nominee is basically the moment it becomes clear that nominee will be confirmed. It means Thune has enough votes to confirm, and thus, Collins gets a pass to look independent.
Noise. Pollution. The Ozone Layer. Acid Rain. AIDS treatment. Cancer cures. Crime rates. Child abductions. As much as we consume doom and gloom in our media, humans are very, very good at solving problems when we want to. We just have to want to.
Food, man. Food is so much better than it was in 1986. All of it. Poor-people food, restaurant food, fresh food, frozen food. Food is just a hell of a lot better.
It's demoralizing living in a nonstop Abuse-a-thon: we've had to learn the sordid details of so many men's abhorrent behavior; I mean this summer has been Graham Platner, Andrew Tate, Jared Leto, Max Miller, plus the horrific L.A. rape-murder of the child by the rapper, to name a few lowlights.
