MMUH 🇮🇪 2022 ➡️ Perth 🇭🇲 2023/24/25. (He/Him) Slowly dying of a crisp addiction and Liverpool 🔴 FC-induced hypertension.

Interesting trying to bring his background team from Bou, some of whom were just long time Bou staff. Could be clever to try get some former LFC role models in there too. But also worry about their credentials and experience , this is a massive step up

🚨 Liverpool reach verbal agreement with Andoni Iraola to become head coach. Set to sign 2yr contract (same as #AFCB deals) & wants Pablo de la Torre, Tommy Elphick, Shaun Cooper, Tom Webber on staff. #LFC aim to present 43yo by end of week 🚨 @theathleticfc.bsky.social www.nytimes.com/athletic/732...

Marching against genocide is a hate march. Marching to "stop Islam", kick out Muslims and prepare for civil war isn't a hate march. The world has been turned on its head.

And why is the US military still able to use UK bases? Why is Palantir - a US spy tech company - so embedded into our vital infrastructure? And why do we have a Labour Govenrment who absolutely cower at the idea of speaking out against the criminal President?

@distancecovered.bsky.social as per your recent article, we simply don’t have the personnel. Not only wingers, RB, but MFs too Where the fuck are grav & szobo off to here?! Not a single midfielder thinking about sitting plugging holes , pass takes out 4 and then it’s 3v1 overload, so fucking shite

for their kidnapping of Maduro, the blockade of Cuba, Iraq war, etc etc. The facade of liberal values is often laid bare when it comes to discussing the Middle East, revealing the underlying American exceptionalism

New York Times, like lots of liberal media, even in opposition to war, always talk about war on Iran being something that should actually be a "reasonable debate". This is such imperial discourse. Imagine other country's ndiscussing whether war on the US is reasonable

Klopp saved the Premier League as a competition because only his sheer brilliance at Liverpool kept the title race close. I don't think even Pep could have achieved what he did there. It is shameful how few trophies Liverpool have to show for his tenure.

As a Manchester United fan I rightly expect absolutely no sympathy for the abject state of my club. I will also say: Wenger's Arsenal overwhelmed Manchester United fair and square, while Chelsea and Manchester City didn't, and football as a whole is still paying a huge price for that.

There are a lot of really horrific examples of “it can always get worse” in world history but I find Sepp Blatter to Gianni Infantino hits just the right note of bleak whimsy.

this continues to tell the true story. slot is giving the players a better platform than they are returning. so many inidividual errors in defence & big chances missed in attack. the recruitment decisions continue to harm slot, esp in defence. vvd the only cb who is here to stay.

@dankennett.co.uk as per your recent article, so weak at set pieces. Why is Salah taking corners now? A high soft cross into vvd who can’t direct it on target. And 1 min later they score from their GK. Compared to arsenals whipped corners where they load the 6 yd box, it’s so dire.

Not a single Greta hater could do what she has done, face what she's faced, bear abuse and humiliation at the hands of the most psychotic and genocidal army. They haven't an ounce of her bravery and that's what drives them crazy. Free Greta, free Palestine🇵🇸

Not sure I'm having the player power/agitation rewarded argument In a world of bomb squads and being forced out - unwanted players was a window theme - agitation is the other side player power is actually highly limited (although Diarra may change that) www.independent.co.uk/sport/footba...

The four themes that sparked a frenzied end to a chaotic transfer window

The conclusion of the Alexander Isak saga, Marc Guehi’s move falling through and late deals all around the Premier League provided a fittingly frenetic end to a summer that showed where the power lies...

Military rule is not a fucking stunt. Get real. The president is burning our constitutional order down and Democrats are shrugging it off. This isn’t an opposition party, it’s a group of incompetents. Everyone should just move aside and let @aoc.bsky.social and @raskin.house.gov run the show.

Ask and you shall receive. I was sent a polling/strategy memo that is being circulated in DC. It offers advice to Dems on Trump sending the National Guard to DC. "Distract" is used 10 times. "Stunt" four. I'll try to post it later, but I assume others have it as well.
