Wir haben heute unsere Verbraucher:innen-Studie zum Nutrition-Score in einer Pressekonferenz vorgestellt: In der Studie für foodwatch wurden Wissen, Einstellungen, Nutzung und Präferenzen in einem mehrstufigen Design erhoben.
Der Nutri-Score ist das zentrale, wissenschaftlich entwickelte Label, um den Verbraucher:innen eine Einschätzung des Gesundheitswertes von Lebensmitteln zu ermöglichen. Leider ist seine Verbreitung nach anfänglicher Dynamik jüngst zurückgegangen, Verbraucher:innen können kaum noch vergleichen.

Not only is the NutrInform battery (made in 🇮🇹 as an ‘alternative’ to the #Nutriscore) nowhere to be seen in Italian supermarkets (apart from a few Ferrero products 🤨), but as the programme shows, very complex and not easy to understand! A total red herring 😒

🤔 This vote is disappointing and makes little sense from a consumer perspective. Our data speaks for itself: almost 70% of EU consumers understand those meaty-names as long as products are clearly labelled "vegan" or "vegetarian".
