I'm not convinced that this is Dems pandering tbh. I think a lot of them hate trans people and feel relieved that they're not longer obligated to pretend otherwise.

Usually when I revisit bands I liked as a teenager I am fairly positive. Like every time I go back to The Dear Hunter or something I'm like, "Hell yeah 17 y/o me had taste". But I dunno what 11 y/o me was thinking, cause I've randomly decided to re-listen to some Korn and that shit is absolute ass.

Can you believe the goats refuse to vote in the upcoming village chief election? My opponent wants to sacrifice all the goats AND all the chickens! I know the goats are sacrificed either way, but why won't the goats think of the chickens? At least I know I can count on the chicken vote.

so my village has been having a lot of issues. rather than deal with any of them, i grabbed a goat and had all the villagers pile their blame and hate onto the goat. while we were getting ready to drive it into the woods (and absolve ourselves) the goat BIT ME????? RUDE?!?

JK Rowling putting up a disclaimer about having mold in her castle in the FAQs section of her website is satisfying. She was so bothered about the mold she learned how to blur her backgrounds, now this. Bullies are such pathetic creatures.

1. Is J.K. Rowling transphobic? ^

2. Has J.K. Rowling been cancelled? ^

3. Does J.K. Rowling have cancer? ^

4. Is Beira's Place anti-rights as highlighted in the recent Amnesty International report? ^

5. Is J.K. Rowling homophobic? ^

6. Why was J.K. Rowling in the Epstein files? ^

7. Does J.K. Rowling have mold in her house? ^

Every goddamn thing is spam and frauds. Every phone call, every email, every mail, every website, every post. You can't use anything without being on guard for almost all of it to be malicious junk. Even the messages I am beamed directly from God have turned out to be fraudulent.

So funny that some people treat Super Metroid as an inaccessible game because it controls a little weird. Or honestly that people treat any of these games as inaccessible. They were made for children!! They were all like the easiest shit you could find that was actually good when they each came out!

it’s wild that the heritage foundation wrote in text that the assault on trans woman particularly in sports is their first step in their efforts to completely abolish all Title IX protections and liberals still don’t believe it’s about more than trans women in sports

commodification is a motherfucker. like teenagers are able to deal with reading/acting out 17t century plays but a game from 15 years ago simply must be updated with more refined (misnomer) control scheme

The list of basic things the liberal doesn't understand could fill a sports stadium but the real defect is in their hearts. A person that speaks this way does not care about people. Full bin with all of them. Never waste even a single second upon them. They're not worth it.

The thing liberals fundamentally don't understand is that trans people are losing rights they already had. We're not asking for more, we're asking not to lose what we already had for decades. Most sports leagues and the Olympics had inclusion criteria for decades without issue.

Screenshot of an X (formerly Twitter) exchange discussing political pragmatism and the Overton window.
The initial post by onion person (@CantEverDie) reads:
> "doesn't matter, this is about what the right is able to push with the overton window. first its democrats needing to disavow trans women in sports to get elected, next it'll be agreeing to ban access to HRT to get elected. we've seen how this plays out"
>
A reply from Nick Pappas (@NickAPappas) reads:
> "Are you insane? The Overton window didn’t even include this discussion until recently. The public has never been in favor of desegregating the sports by sex.
> Personally I’m glad Barack Obama ran against gay marriage in 2008. Not because that was the right position, or one he even actually held, but because he knew the public wasn’t with him on it. If he hadn’t won he wouldn’t have been able to appoint 2 of the justices who ultimately voted in the majority for Obergefell.
> Lincoln in 1860 didn’t even run on abolishing slavery! He just wanted to stop its expansion. And thankfully he did that and won because a more extreme and morally correct position would have lost. As a result he was able to win the Civil War and push through the 13 amendment.
> Political practicality is the entire history of progress in America. There’s no other way."

It's of course horrifying for global fascism to collectively organize specifically against Trans people as their uniting boogieman to enact violence on. But when you think about the average trans woman in 2026 being like, a random lazy nerd who like metal gear a bit too much, it's also kinda funny

Shout out to everyone who said it was just a temporary distraction and not a central organizing principle of modern fascism.
