almost every woman I know in games has a story about themselves or someone they know, myself included. i, and many others, weren't believed because "they're a good person" and there is a clique problem in games where if you're in that clique, you're protected. MinnMax made the right call here.

One thing I wish people would realize is just how central JK Rowling is to the entire anti-trans ecosystem. Looking at a network node analysis of the top 200 anti-trans X accounts, she is the most central figure spanning both sides of the Atlantic from Republicans to Labour.

This shit is why you can't separate continuing to financially support the Harry Potter IP (whether by buying the games, merch, watching the new TV show when its out) from the consequences of what JK Rowling does with that money She's become so stiflingly powerful that even private docs arent safe

I've never seen such an effort to censor a document as I have the Amnesty International report on gender critical groups because of JK Rowling. They removed the report from the Wayback Machine and now I got a DMCA strike on my Google Drive for having it. It was deleted and removed from my account.

This is a good top 12 games list for last year, and a lot of these games are on my list of top games for last year too. I recommend checking them out.

Just watched a Square Enix interview with Hiroyuki Ito about Dungeon Encounters, which includes pearls of game design wisdom such as "I put a value of 12 there because it felt right" and "I can't remember what that's for".

I know it's less than perfect, but I'd much prefer a direct democracy to a representative democracy. We have the technology now. There's no reason for one person to represent several hundred thousand people...especially when it's not uniformly distributed.
