I forgot how tedious, but also DIFFERENT doing animation stuff is. I keep doing too much detail and shit and then going "wait... I didn't need to do that. I SHOULDN'T do that b/c I can't replicate it 20 times." Which means I keep having to go back and erase shit. It's fun, but it's rough. 💀
the crazy thing about this trend is how badly this exposes that these people have the same attachment and awareness of video games as scalpers do for pokemon

For me good art has to put its head into the jaws of Insisting Upon Itself and sometimes it gets devoured but the greater sin lies in the opposite direction, which is never giving us the chance to care at all

One of the best ways to isolate transphobes is just to repeatedly talk positively about trans people, even if you aren’t trans. It uplifts your trans followers *and* makes bigots know they aren’t welcome in spaces you’re in!

In the end, this is why I talk politics in my art spaces. I can only apologize about how local the politics often are. But TLDR, talking about what's important to you makes sure your space is only appealing to people you want inside it. As a tattoo artist, people are physically in my space.

The company Kiru Made has been exploiting artists, and (before we knew that) we helped them with a convention shipment, and they’ve ignored the invoice and reminders for six months! Just shitty behavior all around, be sure to avoid them!
