It almost feels like a twist of the knife, too, that they always include suicide and support helplines as a shrugging footnote to their posts announcing the further excision of our healthcare. They know that their decision making is plunging people into crisis, and continue on with it anyway.

NHS Wales have "paused" (cancelled) all upcoming gender-affirming surgeries, and the statement released strongly implies that this was done because - unlike NHS England - they actually process patients. Reprehensible, sadistic decision making from the board.

The Welsh Gender Service has now released a statement regarding the cancellation of all surgeries: 'We have been asked to immediately pause referrals from the WGS for gender affirming surgery and existing scheduled surgeries while further independent clinical review work is carried out.'

Amazing touch for Camp Miasma's in-universe transphobic movie to show Ray Blanchard as the director, really appreciated sharing knowing glances with the other trans women who chuckled at that title card in a theatre otherwise full of oblivious cis people.
