Almost every single student who has found me this week wants to talk about AI. A couple reflections. One student has taken three AI courses in philosophy, health sciences and comm. They’re basically the same class. As it turns out, it doesn’t take a lot of classes to “learn” ai.

Fine, then require one class and leave the rest of us alone. (After about two weeks in the class, they’ll be like, “shit, what do we do now?” but that’s not my problem.)
The idea of AI “hallucinating” is one I wish I’d had!
My folks are downsizing and I was so happy to take a milk crate of vinyl off their hands. We used to listen to this one a lot when I was a kid and it still holds up. 1980 was just a couple of years ago, right?
