Twitch isn't making Gen AI training *opt-in* because no one would voluntarily choose to opt in. Instead, they are offering an opt-out option.

In the process of trying to put together some new stuff for my portfolio this random thing ended up coming together as a byproduct of the creative brainstorming process. I have no idea what this was supposed to be or where I was going with it, but here it is. ¯\(°_o)/¯

It’ll always amaze me how executives and investors don’t think this is all extremely pathetic. To be as successful as they are and yet fail to keep 1,000 people employed would be evidence of immense failure in an economic system that wasn’t explicitly designed around maintaining a fucking delusion.
