I see a lot of posts trying to “naturalize” hatred of AI—talking a lot about how it’s obvious when something is AI, or talking about specific qualities of human art AI lacks. This might be true for now, but it seems likely this won’t hold. Meaning, anti-AI needs to be a political stance.

I actually think that the confusion over this question—the mistaken idea that perverts and preachers have opposing projects—is responsible for a lot of the stagnated and remedial quality of sexual politics discourses.

There’s no contradiction between this kind of pornographic misogyny and puritanical misogyny of the old Christian right. Both use sexuality to enact men’s domination over women. That one sect forces sex and the other prohibits it is largely a matter of taste.

It is worth noting that she would not be advocating for this used she had won, or if she was in a position of strength. This is a challenger position. The lesson here is that sometimes Dems need to lose in order to adopt the will of the people.

Using lists of three is not an "AI tell." It's a common trait in human writing because our brains biologically want to make sure there's always one thing to marry, one thing to fuck, and one thing to murder.

The firestorm of age-verification laws have done almost nothing to prevent minors from accessing porn online. What they have done is give the state a powerful tool to harass speech they don't like by declaring it pornographic or "harmful to minors."
