It's bc Taco Bell is REALLY GOOD at tracing product! Keeping track of exactly where they got their ingredients, & exactly what restaurants each shipment of ingredients went to!

In the mid-20th century, auto and oil interests bought up electric streetcar systems across the US and systematically replaced them with bus routes and paved roads, funneling commuters toward private cars.
I love this. I thought the future sight frame was kind of gimmicky for a lot of the MB2 cards, but using it for already quirky cards makes a lot of sense

a lot of what the right does nowadays is create an emotional support system for bigots. bigotry will offend and alienate people in your life, so the right looks provides a counterweight that lavishes you with praise.

In the last 48 hours, Saint Paulites have learned about multiple allegations that Mayor Kaohly Her engaged in sexual harassment and misconduct toward city employees. These allegations are serious, and must be fully and thoroughly investigated.

Don't get me wrong - parliamentary systems have their advantages (so do ours), but the existence of Orban and Netanyahu kinda aggressively suggest their limitations as well. There's just not a good solution to 'major party agrees to collectively go mad together because they became a cult.'
