Romanizing languages is fraught, and some languages have been romanized in different ways (think 北京, which Hanyu Pinyin represents as "Beijing" versus the older "Peking" of Wade-Giles / Imperial Post). Nahuatl is no different, as you'll notice if you ever search for words in it the language. 1/
