UB gripes aside, I am just annoyed that the Moopsy isn't deadlier. Like "exile any creature dealt combat damage by Moopsy at the end of combat" or something. But I GUESS I'll settle for one Moopsy being able to kill an Eldrazi titan. But as is, Moopsy is just half a Poison-Dart Frog :(

I am currently reading a novel in which a 500+ year old trans woman bioengineered a quokka to solve crimes. Also a man blows up a car with a mandarin orange and a different man shamefully admits that his superpower is "turning into a tree".

My leader has been using Gemini to read his emails, create task lists, due dates, and assignments. Yesterday, he realized that we have a C Suite level presentation TODAY. The automation he was relying on had not even acknowledged the email(s) about it. I'll cry happy tears when it's gone away.

My answer is LOL ROFL (dickbrain) The terminally AI-pilled can't even *imagine* some people have *never* asked stochastic parrots to cheat at their job for them.

All the people who are anti-Al or want to
slow Al progress, I have one question:
If Al disappeared tomorrow, could you
still get through an entire workday
without ChatGPT, Claude, or any other
 Al tool?

Imagine Al was suddenly banned.
Would you actually be willing to give it
 up?

Today is There Will Come Soft Rains day, and it’s interesting how much the story reads to me now less as a “horror of nuclear war” snapshot and more as an examination of how impersonal our automated homes have become, that they could just go on without us

Inside you are two wolves. This is very uncomfortable for everyone. Your insides lack large ungulate game. The wolves are blind from the lack of light, and nauseated by the smell. Your organs scream in pain from their claws, while your torso distends horribly. The EPA wants to talk about permits.

I hate the fact that life has turned into an endless series of single-use kitchen gadgets. Want to go to a theme park? Better install their proprietary app. Want to go to another theme park owned by the same company? That will be another app.

My doctor, every visit: "Is there a history of heart disease in your family?" Me, every time: "Yes, my grandmother died from a heart attack and my dad has a pacemaker." Doc: "Ok, next que-" Me: "But she was 85 and smoked 3 packs a day since 1946, and dad got heart damage from Lyme Disease."

Douglas Adams: life seems harsh and cruel. i feel all alone in a threatening world where what lies ahead is vague and uncertain Barker: i got great news for you! Barker: the treatment is simple Barker: the great humorist douglas adams is doing a reading tonight. go see him. Adams: but doctor
