It's a real problem that a lot of Democratic elected officials and leaders actively hate their primary electorate.

Sometimes I just sit around stewing about how ride or die so many Minnesotans have been, how they showed up through sacrifice big and small. They made the bad guys push through them at every step. Gave up nothing for free. And the best governor we’re being offered is Klob. It’s embarrassing.

MNDOT and other groups should absolutely encourage less driving, but asking people to bike, walk or take transit *specifically* on days when the air is filthy, is ridiculous. Encourage bus use on good air days by building out rapid buses & light rail all over and make driving less convenient.

ICE observers in Minneapolis have begun receiving visits from FBI agents sent to intimidate them. A close friend-combat vet, mother, no criminal record-who was a volunteer observer during the ICE crisis, had a visit and was threatened for taking photos and videoed, claiming that filming was illegal.

MnDot has closed the last remaining pedestrian crossing of Hiawatha between 94 and 28th street. if you are a pedestrian who wants to cross Hiawatha you will need to walk almost a mile out of your way or walk in traffic because MnDot thinks this strategy will stop encampments from forming.
