When well-meaning people say "I'm fine with generative AI handling [task]" What they're generally saying is "[task] is boring and unimportant." But why don't we think these things (eg. tools engineering, taxes, administrative work) are important? Whose jobs aren't important to us?

We all seem to have forgotten one of the most truly delightful and surprising indie interactive fiction drops of the last decade. 17776 is ostensibly about football, which is why at first glance I thought I wouldn't like it. But it really makes me smile, and the world could use that right now.
