(That may sound like a crazy suggestion, but every immigrant rights groups will tell you they’ve heard from immigrants that they’ll be left overnight on buses for 10, 15, 24 whole hours, often at an airport, and often with no bathroom. I’ve heard this myself many times.)

If you know anyone who works for DHS or for a law enforcement, probation, etc. agency that cooperates with ICE, read this to them and ask them questions. If you work for a prosecutor/sheriff/police/governor/mayor that says it does not cooperate with ICE, but also does not investigate it, same.

Stay tuned for more on this from mainstream reporting hopefully later today, but Bob's got the gist of it; last week, it appears that ICE began disappearing people from the Online Detainee Locator System the moment they get a final order of removal. Yes, this is as deeply screwed up as it sounds.
Hospitalization on top of normal booking delay would probably keep him invisible on the locator for a bit regardless, but possibly another issue at play here: Since last week ICE has appeared to be excluding EVERY detainee with a final order of removal from showing up in the online locator.

Over and over, ICE has shot people and then lied about what happened. We can see the lies with our own eyes. We will demand truth, transparency and accountability.
The horror has come to our city: ICE has shot a person in Austin this morning. As the facts emerge, I am demanding a full, independent investigation, immediate release of the body camera footage, and accountability for any ICE officer who broke the law.
I talk to a fair amount of organizers and I don’t know a one who thinks panic is a useful strategic opportunity. In fact, a lot of organizing is an attempt to direct panic towards anger and self-interest.
