She cycles around, sets up her bench and a small table with coffee and cake somewhere, and chats with complete strangers. The goal is to strengthen the neighborhood and combat loneliness, particularly among seniors.

Building cities for people shouldn't be a radical idea. The real hostile, unnatural design is blanketing our communities with massive parking lots and urban highways.

People want to support local businesses without being forced to drive. The proof is everywhere, and the local farmers market is the perfect example.

Cities own land, can issue permits, and raise funds. Solving the housing crisis shouldn’t be rocket science: finally, build the housing yourselves.

How do we know the build-up of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere is caused by humans?

Fossil fuels are the only source of carbon dioxide large enough to raise atmospheric carbon dioxide amounts so high so quickly.
