During the Covid inquiry, one of the independent expert witnesses was asked: “Is there any scenario or situation where someone could produce a droplet without also generating significant amounts of aerosols?” Professor Clive Beggs clearly replied: “NO”.

Surely UKHSA should at least be considering the possibility of AEROSOL transmission? Many official public health websites (the UK Green Book, NICE, ECDC, and, until a day ago when it was suddenly deleted, the WHO) all mention aerosol as a mode of transmission for meningococcal bacteria…

It’s criminal that the UK, in the middle of a meningitis outbreak that has killed 2 students, put many in hospital and still a danger, is repeating the same droplet dogma mistake they did with Covid, which has been admitted in a long-drawn out Covid Inquiry was a colossal mistake👇

It looks like they're repeating the same mistakes as with covid. "Oh no it's not spread by aerosols. Just wash your hands. No need for masks." Why do they do this? People will die.

Many countries dealt with Covid 19 very effectively. The UK pursued the wrong strategies and failed miserably, with hundreds of thousands of deaths. Rather than learn the obvious lessons, the plan is to pretend there is no solution, and bestow honours on the architects of our negligent disaster.

Since they've no intention of halting the spread of the current pandemic it's hardly surprising they would care about a future one.

Remember when I said that the decision to simply ignore the fact that COVID was still spreading then opened a can of worms of public health crisis and governments are now mishandling multiple old and new pathogens? This is exactly the type of thing I was talking about.

Not quite sure what "public health resources" are supposed to be used for, if not attempts to ensure public health. 🤷🏽♀️ Make no mistake, this is also clearly Australia's attitude. #COVID #SARS-CoV-2 #Pandemic We are on our own.
