Be a transphobe? Look, I get that she may be slightly less of a ghoul than Vivek, because who isn’t? But please do NOT say she has character & what is more CRUEL than going out of your way calling 🏳️‍⚧️ girls boys? Fucking c’mon people. Pick her as your “lesser evil” if you feel, but she’s no hero.

Amy Acton’s mother is a vile ghoul who deserves nothing good in this life or the next, child survivors have the right to speak their harm and not have an abusive parent deny their experiences… and also Amy Acton is transphobic, and spreading dangerous rhetoric. Both things are true.

Last I'll post about this, but Elon Musk disagrees with me. This means I am onto something, and I feel more valid in my opinion than ever.

look if shit is so dire for the democrats that they NEED every vote from trans people, maybe they shouldn't run candidates who are transphobic or fold on even the slightest pushback to trans rights it's not our fault y'all's guys suck

Unfortunately there are people who care about trans people having rights who are not trans people themselves and I’m sure that the number will suddenly grow exponentially post election when candidates have lost and you’re looking for someone to blame that isn’t the candidates themselves

Unfortunately abandoning trans people is not the deal-breaker many on the left think it is as there have been no tangible consequences for Dem polticians who do it.
For one thing, there aren't many trans people in the U.S. population (only 1%) so there's not a lot of backlash.

if you use Xitter in 2026, I am contractually obliged to assume it’s because you are terminally addicted to cranking it to videos of mass shootings and women crushing small animals in high heels and are simply too chickenshit to admit it

It's not even the ethics of it. My career, my hobbies, my free time, hell, my whole life took off once I fully left Twitter. It is a place to go if you want to be stuck in a neverending race war feedback loop. Like not using ChatGPT, not using Twitter is a superpower. Remain employable; stay off it.

I am way too online for my own good, and I had an unreasonably large twitter following, and I really *enjoyed* twitter for a lot of years, and yet leaving there and never looking back was maybe the easiest what-felt-like-a-big-ethical decision I've ever made.
