Trump's ongoing lies about Detroit and Wayne County, Michigan's administration of elections aren't going unnoticed.... by the voters of Detroit and Wayne County A boost for Abdul El-Sayed As I discussed with @hcrichardson.bsky.social today ====>
"What distinguished West Point is not that it claimed a monopoly on character development, but that it recognized technical competence without moral development can become dangerous." Many of our leaders lack both, but character might be most important.

Brutal. Effective. And @sherrodbrownoh.bsky.social better win.
Sherrod Brown's U.S. Senate campaign releases a new ad scorching Jon Husted for slashing Medicaid: "You can't hug our daughter, take your picture with her, and then cut the care that she relies on."
The Trump regime is publicly thanking a creepy anonymous snitch for trying to get someone arrested and deported over erroneous immigration suspicions. The regime wants you to keep informing on your neighbors to please Big Brother.
Nothing to worry about, just a US attorney investigating people for deportation when suggested by rando X accounts

Not just Threads. I deleted every Meta account I had.

holy shit -- Schiff ties Trump's judicial nominees in knots by asking them who won the 2016 before *before* asking them who won in 2020, which results in them sounding like election deniers about Trump's victories!
"So he can feel a bit more manly by making an AI video" is a direct callback to this image that deserves a second life in this campaign
Dr. Abdul El-Sayed: Mike Rogers is a guy who wants to put a data center in your backyard so he can feel a bit more manly by making an AI video. If you want a senator who's gonna lick some boots, go vote for Rogers. But if you want a senator who's going to stand up to Trump, you've got your option.
Donald Trump threatens massive airstrikes against Iran. Then he backs down. That’s not strategy. That’s weakness.
Albert Speer would be so proud! The Times takes us on an exclusive video tour of Washington remade in the image of Donald Trump. It furnishes a perfect demonstration of the psychopathology of fascist architectural design. www.thetimes.com/us/american-...
Inside Trump’s multimillion-dollar DC makeover — a visual guide
The president has grand designs for Washington, including a White House ballroom, independence arch and Dulles airport redesign. How much does it cost?

Isn't it weird how the reaction to an Iran-Oman deal is much more "yay, peace, the economy will be fine from now on," and little-to-no "Iran effectively declared victory, utterly humiliating Donald Trump, so he'll probably end up bombing again, like last time"? Well, it's weird to me.
Former Republican Senator Jeff Flake just endorsed Democrat Jon Ossoff. Flake says he is still a conservative Republican, but character matters more than party. Flake warns Mike Collins would be a rubber stamp for Donald Trump. #GASen #CharacterMatters
ONE NIGHT ONLY is a tough pitch, but it won me over thanks to its comedy and the chemistry between Turner and Barbaro.
'One Night Only' Review: Will Gluck Transforms a Dark Premise Into a Delightful Rom-Com
Callum Turner and Monica Barbaro are incredibly charming in the romantic comedy with a Purge-like twist, One Night Only.

A huge congrats to Abdul El-Sayed and the people of Michigan. It’s time for our party to unite and do everything we can to ensure Abdul wins and we flip the Senate. Let’s get money in your pockets and Medicare for All. And thank you to Haley Stevens for your service to your district and the country.
Congratulations Abdul!!!! I can’t believe I know a Democratic nominee for Senate! Or that this picture was 11 years ago. The idea of Abdul being in the Senate advocating for public health and access to health care, especially at a time when RFKJ is in charge at HHS, is incredible to contemplate.
I don’t exactly have the power of an AOC endorsement, but I’ve known Abdul for quite some time and I would be thrilled to see him represent public health in the Senate. He was our class speaker when I graduated from undergrad (Go Blue!) and then I got to know him better when were both at Columbia.
El Sayed was not my first choice. But at this point, it doesn’t matter. We all need to rally behind him to keep Michigan’s Senate seat with the Democrats. Progressives need to do the same when a centrist Democrat wins a primary. www.cnn.com/2026/08/04/p...
