NHS and government data policy on trans people now completely functions as a means of sidelining our needs and what we think, feel, experience through our healthcare on the basis that we don't know what's good for us. The approach to policy development around trans issues is fully disciplinary.

"Sex at birth (observed)" is now a mandatory data item in the NHS core information standard (v2.0.1). It also appears (if I am reading this correctly) that gender identity and pronouns have been removed. The NHS are transphobic as fuck!!! standards.nhs.uk/published-st...

I think a reason the current time seems so unhinged is because we “sane wash” each previous generation. I’ve been deep diving on the 1920’s for my PhD and it’s all Lords of the Admiralty earnestly debating whether the etheric penis is made of silver or astral material. We’ve always been nuts.

Never forget that they had to spend trillions of dollars, build massive data centers, consume millions of galloons of water and insane amounts of electricity, just to kind of do what you can do better with your imagination and a cup of coffee. That's how envious they are of what you can do.
