There are two different concepts of "efficiency" that are in inherent tension: On the business side, "efficiency" means the most productivity/value produced for the least amount of resource expenditure. On the consumer side, "efficiency" means SHIT WORKS THE WAY I NEED IT TO WHEN I WANT IT TO.
