At @chipcampdenlitfest.bsky.social on Monday, someone said they read THE DOUBLE HELIX when they were young and found it inspiring (this was a frequent response – eg Patricia Fara's recollection). What popular book about *how science is done* (not 'pop sci') would be recommended as inspiration today?
Notwithstanding the statements in and around the recent Peters et al, I am curious if the injectable pembrolizumab will turn out to get under patients' skin better in the morning.
Excellent news as a new form of a checkpoint inhibitor drug to treat cancer enables the drug to be injected rather than intravenously infused ensuring the treatment is more accessible (as well as being very effective) for patients. 🧪
