We're in the era of incompetence & cybercrimes headlined as "unprecedented model capabilities gone rogue." So OpenAI & Anthropic are trying to one up each other with such incompetence because the "press release as a service" performing media & clueless politicians parrot pre IPO CEO talking points.

Early interest check, but any UK folks after an MX-5? I have plans next year that involve it not being around, and as I'm unlikely to drive it much in the winter, I'll be aiming to sell it soon.

WT ACTUAL F? Any politicians going to stand up and call this lot out for what they are? Are we going to finally say "y'know what, they don't have legitimate concerns they're just hate groups".
Leaders of flag-raising group Raise the Colours Oxfordshire placed trackers on highway workers’ cars to find out their home addresses, the High Court has heard. RTC then attempted to intimidate the highway staff into no longer removing flags by repeating their addresses to them.
Properly gone at the idea of having this awarded like a corporate award gigs in one of those massive but soulless business hotel ballrooms, with Romesh Ranganathan hosting.

Never forget, if you read what Wayve says their system does/is capable of, they have invented Artificial General Intelligence (AGI). This should be celebrated, especially as no one know how to create it or even if it can be created. But yes, lets allow them to have vehicles on our streets.
Wayve says Transport for London granted them a permit for crewed/supervised AV/ADS/robot ridehail, ie w a safety driver. It's impossible to tell who/what is driving w a safety driver. Most ADS problems/failures are only evident externally without a safety driver. investor.uber.com/news-events/...

Who knew if you enabled the hate mobs they would be hateful? I mean its not like we don't have any evidence to show this.....see all the racism, openly, from politicians all the way throughout society.
"Before the ruling any challenges had been gentle, like ‘oh by the way this is the ladies’,” she was quoted as saying, “and people were embarrassed or apologetic when I said ‘it’s okay I’m a girl’, but now it’s aggressive and horrible.”

So, so many people do not understand insider threats. ALL OF THIS 👇
It looks like it and this is why I have an issue with the anthropomorphism constantly applied to agentic AI. They would differ from human insiders not only because of the lack of autonomy over their actions (likely applies here) but because of the lack of e.g., financial, ideological motivations.
