whenever someone tells you that it's simply impossible for police to be charged with misconduct or criminal charges, you can tell they're wrong because some cops do get charged regularly — when they are whistleblowers or reformers prosecutors are actually extremely eager to help drum them out!

very fun watching my kid watch her first murder mystery (sheep detectives) and falling for all the red herrings and misdirects. halfway through the movie a character is getting arrested and she is just going off about how she knew it and she saw all the clues.
