I am 62 years old. Raised in the foothills of the Rockies. Son of Michigan. I once got lost in a remote canyon on Cedar Mesa in Utah, after dark.

Hey Minneapolis. Can someone explain it to me like I’m an idiot: why is MPD allowed to just spend money they don’t have and then say “we’re over budget.” And there’s never any questions that the city has to pay?

I'm sorry, but life-long Republican pundits aren't the zeitgeist of the insurgent anger in the Democratic electorate. We are tired of how broken our world has become. We're not interested in listening to talking heads, consultants, and smug prognosticators. You all need to start listening to US.

Fuck Eli Roth. Ai was of course gonna be in this guy’s arsenal of being a professional hack. A career built on being a trickle down Tarantino, where stealing from obscure movies loses even more original thought in exchange for the most obvious hit of shock. May his movies bomb, his haters thrive.

The meeting hall in the former Cataract Masonic Temple is an astonishingly beautiful and little known treasure in the Marcy-Holmes neighborhood of Southeast Minneapolis. Here it is in 1926 and now:

large room lined with doric columns, high decorative ceiling, and oval dome painted with clouds in the style of a Renaissance temple. Rows of theater chairs line the room, and altar is at the center, the Dias in the back under a stained glass window.
