Air quality. I grew up in the Los Angeles basin in the 70s and 80s and remember having to stay inside because the smog was so bad - Stage 2 smog alerts, they were called. Apparently they haven't had one of those since 1988. Haven't had a stage one smog alert since 2003.

This has been studied quite a bit, the solar panels create a sort of greenhouse effect for the plants underneath them while also generating energy which feels like it should be cheating but is real and literally only has upsides.

the answer to this is almost everything, and the more-ness of the stuff, and how much of it is bad to hit a low price point, is muddying it. the most notable exception i can think of is clothes, we pretty much solved that a few hundred years ago
