Yes, the one who couldn't win a primary in her own party despite a $55 MILLION dollar advantage—much of it from a PAC that would prefer to see the Republican win anyway—is the more "electable" one, the one who can really reach voters. That is a thing people believe.
Pretty sure when you win the election it's a big election night. Pretty sure when your party's leadership all endorses the loser, it means the leadership is out of touch with the electorate.

Politicians can win people over by being humble and more respectful to those on the other side of policy debates. Says the man who calls two popes "generic" and "trite" on immigration. Say the man who sneered at "childless cat ladies" and insisted that lying about OH Haitians was important.
Vance is acknowledging that GOP Ohioans voted to protect a right to abortion. Now the GOP will win over the population to vote anti-abortion by distributing Xtian charities that distribute diapers, I shit you not.
Vance says that the Vatican position o the dignity of migrants forces tradeoffs that favor strict immigration policy without dehumanizing anyone. Do tell. Nope. No tradeoffs mentioned excepted the spurious one about human trafficking. Now he's on to abortion.

I can readily believe that Vance doesn't really believe in humans producing new goods and services: his GOP seems to be all about moving assets around, not about production or even consumption. But it's a halfwit model.

I need people to understand that for the last half decade that there’s been an ecosystem of trans folks in sports media who have worked unpaid to serve as experts for context, sources and educators on what it’s like for trans athletes, in hopes of potential bylines and contacts. That’s dried up.
