This is one of the best articles I've seen about the difference between letting the underlying settings dictate the structure of your UI, and thinking about what actually makes sense to your users. Really, really insightful, and definitely worth ten minutes of your time.

@play.date heya, any chance y’all could tweak your catalog newsletter template again? Sometime after February it stopped being usable on mobile and the screenshots are tiiiiiiny. It’s a little less bad on the web version because you can zoom in but still not optimal.

@jola.dev heya, is there a way to check why a feed isn’t detected on annot.at and gets put in draft status? I have a hunch that mine isn’t working due to my feed being malformed, but the error message makes it sound like no header tag link was found to it or the URL 404s.

I use a cane and wheelchair to get around in public and if I didn’t I wouldn’t be able to get around at public at all. Which is ultimately the goal of people who attack the use of mobility aids: it’s a straightforward way to remove many disabled people from social life.

Seeing every small business, be it a local restaurant, a moving company, whatever, all having AI logos and AI ads, really puts into perspective just how many artists are out of jobs now. All those little sustaining jobs where someone just needed a quick thing for $50 to $200 are just gone.
